The ICY Gym initiative is more than a sports training facility; it is a life-changing program designed to instill discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among youth. Over 50 trainees are currently honing their skills in Tae Kwon Do, under the guidance of experienced coaches. The program’s recent triumph was evident at the regional championships, where participants bagged 10 medals and secured spots in national training camps. The gym continues to nurture dreams, with sights set on representing Kenya on the global stage.

Our Impact

ICY Gym is more than a training facility; it’s a proving ground for future champions. Last month, 12-year-old Amina stood proudly on the winner’s podium at the Regional Tae Kwon Do Championships, holding a gold medal. Her journey to victory wasn’t easy; early morning runs, rigorous training sessions, and countless hours of discipline. But through it all, Amina found a family at ICY Gym, one that supported her every step of the way.

Since its inception, ICY Gym has trained over 50 youth, teaching them not only physical skills but also resilience and leadership. Coaches often share stories of young trainees stepping up to mentor newer members, embodying the values of teamwork and mutual support. The ultimate goal? To see these athletes compete internationally, representing Kenya on the global stage and showcasing the incredible talent nurtured at home.
